The Friends of Basrah Museum’s current work on the Basrah Museum Project is supported by a large Cultural Protection Fund grant awarded in December 2016 and managed by the British Council in partnership with the Department of Culture Media & Sport.

The first phase of the project was made possible through the generosity of the following donors without whom the installation of the Basrah Gallery would not have been possible.
